Stay Confident

Conquering Test Anxiety

Confidence is a critical factor on exam day. Test anxiety can lead to second-guessing and reading too much into straightforward questions. Remember, the RBT exam is designed to test entry-level competency, not trick you.

Strategies for Exam Week

  • Pre-Exam Routine: Get adequate sleep (8+ hours) the night before the exam. Eat a healthy meal before heading to the testing center.
  • Manage Time Wisely: You have 90 minutes for 85 questions, which is more than 1 minute per question. Flag difficult questions and return to them later instead of getting stuck.
  • Read Carefully: Pay attention to keywords like *EXCEPT*, *NOT*, *FIRST*, or *MOST appropriate*. Underline or mentally note what the question is asking.

You Are Prepared

Trust your training, your study plan, and your mock exam scores. Positive reinforcement starts with believing in your own preparation.
